for the christmas thing at church we're doing the beginning up to christ's birth and we can't find a song about creation. help!!!

I know one but can't think of it now. I will ask someone at church tonight and get back to you, so check back after 10 pm eastern time.
I'm back. I found a song, although there was another one I am still trying to think of that might have been good, too.
The one I did find is "It's Bound to Be the Lord" written by Albert E. Brumley. It is an old song. It is very pretty. Don't know if it's what you need. I tried to find the lyrics online. I found albums with it, but no lyrics to print out. It is in old hymn books.

My mind's a blank for creation songs at the moment. Have you tried googleing for them?
Is this to be aimed at kids? adults?
