The yolk is what has all the cholesterol, right? I ate 5 egg whites & threw the yolks away & it looked equivalent to 2 whole eggs. Is that still harmful?

No that is not unhealthy; it is very healthy. It still is nutricious and you don't have the cholesterol or the calories. And it is fine to eat that everyday too.

BTW, are you still anemic (see I DO have a memory)? If you are, you may need to have something containing iron at every meal. Of course you could always take supplements to help with that. I hope you are not still anemic though.

eggs are embyos, whether they are unfertilized or not they're no different from human embryos in the sense that both have the same ability- they give rise to a baby. And now, not only are you assisting the world in cruel acts but you are taking the cruelty to a whole new level!! Why not leave animals alone, they're so gentle and helpless. And because of that people exploit them.
