I just got two questions deleted this afternoon, and I know the church folks did it, cause they're supposed to get extra points in heaven for that stuff. Jesus smiles on them when they report people who don't measure up to their emotional standards.

The first question they deleted was where I inquired concerning their evidence that Jesus revived after being dead two or three days.

The second question was where I asked them if they know the lyrics to Kim IL Sung Wants Me For A Sunbeam (To Shine For Him Each Day).

Go figure.

So I re-wrote both questions and re-posted them.

It is because Christianity and discuss intelligently are an oxymoron. They have no ability to discuss anything that goes against the brainwashing, as they unfortunately do not have the ability to think on their own outside of their church and what they are told to think. Hence they just can't discuss anything that disagrees with their brainwashed beliefs, so they report it. It is just like sticking your head in the sand, if you can't see it then it does not exist to bother you. Granted their God they can't see, but that to them is different. If they can't see your questioning of their faith, then they think that the whole world is just one big happy Christian playground where all people think the same way and are mindlessly following the same thing that someone tells them to do. Sounds like a wonderful place to me, just like Disney Land, but better since nobody thinks for themselves. It would be Christian Land, where everyone walks around sexually frustrated and feeling guilty all day, and big Jesus characters walk around. What a place.

EDIT: A True Christian: love that you follow your religion and respect others for their opinions and turn the other cheek. Or is that just something that you spout out of your mouth and do the opposite? From the sounds of your answer, you are a huge hypocrite. Typical Christian.

There is (hopefully) a minority of both atheist and Christians that report disagreeable questions and answers. This also true of those that ask questions that are truly offensive.

Ensure that your wording and questions are in line with the community guidelines and then challenge any violations that you may get, this reduces their credibility.

It makes them angry to have to actually use their brains and think. They are also afraid that someone else might actually be right.
Christians have done the same for many hundreds of years, if someone didn't agree with them, they would be deleted. Why be surprised that today is not any different.

Notice the answer of 'A True Christian.' She reports what she feels is 'blasphemous.' That probably means anything that questions the validity of her religion.

That's the typical modus operanti of the Christian who can't possibly come up with an intelligent defense of their faith or admission of ignorance!

Just as likely behavior from atheists. Some people are frightened by disagreement and only want to hear from people who believe like they do, so they report the answer as offensive.

Because to discuss something intelligently that is outside of their comfort zone would prove fatal to their entire belief system

Deep down because thinking about it may cause them change. Thus censorship. They may be insecure about their own beliefs, while others may be so fanatical as to say that other beliefs don't or shouldn't exist
