You dont mention how old you are which would definitely factor into this question. However, you should always wear something nicer then you would wear in everyday life. A nice thing to do is wear jeans with a sexy pair of shoes and a cute top with a nice bag or a dress and high heels. You should look dressed up and it also depends on where you are going. Play up your make up a little. Put more effort into your appearance then you normally would on a normal day!

depends the guy u are going out with. a guy wants a girl who looks well with him, so obviously dont go with sweatpants. now if the guy is of say top ranking maybe something more dressy like a descent skirt, and a nice elegant top, maybe even the little black dress. however, if the guy doesnt seem that top class, some nice jeans, a good-looking shirt, some matching heels would be fine. remember this is a date to get to know the person, so don't try to pretend to be someone you are not, and let your inner style be shown, u don't want to be uncomfortable in what u are wearing, but u dont want to be too comfortable either. also, wear something that u look good in. pick out more than one outfit before the date, and maybe even ask a friend for her/his opinion on which of the outfits u should go with.

It really depends on where you are going on the date.
If to a restauruant, then you should wear a sexy slinky dress that hugs all the right places but is not hoeish.
If to a cinema, wear a nice t-shirt or blouse with jeans and sneakers or dress shoes.
If to an amusment park, wear something cute but comfy such as jeans and a t-shirt with sneakers.
If you do not knw where you are going, were dress pants and a nice dress blouse with dress shoes, keep a change of ckothing or shoes in your car . That was if it is a suprise you'll be prepared.

It all depends on where you are going. But my go to outfit for a date is a pair of dark jeans( darker jeans look neater and a little more dressed up) comfy heels (wedges usually you never know where you could end up or if you are walking alot) and a nice top. Don't over do it with jewelry or make-up. The guy wants to see you not a bunch of make-up and jewelry. And just be your self.

I'd say smart jeans, a nice top, and some nice (but not too posh or party-like ) shoes. Also, one, maybe two, pieces of nice jewellery.
That way it doesn't look like you've made too much of an effort, but you have made some effort, particularly if you spend time on your hair and do your make up nicely.
