I know this is a gross question but I was just curious. I once heard that the healthy color of urine is clear, because that means you have been drinking a lot of water, whereas if its real yellow then you've been drinking too much soda. Is that even true?

when ur pee is yellow it means ur dehydrated..not u have been drinking too much soda because i havent had a soda in almost 3 years and when i dont stay hydrated my pee is yellow. poop is supposed to be brown. green means diarrhea and black means constipation.

depends upon what you eat... lots of green, poo tends to be greenish, lot's of eggs or noodles, poo will tend to be gold/light brown, etc...
a healthy diet will have your poo being a medium brown.
in a normal healthy person with no medical issues and drinking enough water every day, urine will be clear to very light yellow. the darker the yellow the more water you need to drink. dark yellow, you are dehydrated!
now if it's a baby, all bets are off! lol :) cuz their poop is every color of the food they eat
***side note: in regards to diarrhea... color can vary from dark to light, and is generally foul smelling. make sure you drink plenty of water to re-hydrate yourself!

It can vary depending on what you eat. There isn't really a normal color. Lots of artichoke= dark green, lots of burgers=brown, lots of pasta with white sause = yellow or pale. Don't worry about it , as long as it just comes out.
