I talk this issue up with as many folks as I can and I am astonished at how many American cit. are clueless about the acutal facts of this problem. What is your experience?

Yes. Amer. population increase is flat line. One dies, one is born. Fact: LEGAL immigration (50% of which are Mexicanos) of US, increases USA population X 4 by year 2020 at current rate. Add to that approx. 20 million illegals (80% of which are Mexicanos).
Where is the water, fuel, homes, SPACE for these additional people? Who will pay for this? Surely not the indigent poor who come here as legal immigrants. Who then?

Matty: I'm not reporting here. I do have an expressed agenda yes. I feel astonished how littel facts and figures most citizens seem to have on this issue. Most are totally aware of the "problem" but have other things on their mind. Except for the ones who's family/friends were killed by an illegal, or whose job was taken by an illegal, or whose children can't get a good education, apparently due to mismanagment of funds ...to teach English to illegal children, rather than a general education to citizen children. The list of damages goes on into serious criminality, ID theft, drugs etc.

Read the book by Dick Morris, he's the guy that worked for the Clintons for so many years and is now strongly agianst them. I figure he's still here because he has some pretty good stuff on them. anyway his book Outrage is full of great stuff from Sen. Clinton being a jr. senator, yet is pulling in over $450,000 from the lobbyist, when other that have been there 20l years pull in $20,000, she at the top, but on to your questin.

In Federal pens it's 300,000 according to his documented evidence and that they estimate another 300,000 in state jials, now remember theat the illegal criminal will also blend in the areas where they will fit in and that the monority folks are also gettting hit hard, that is why they are for the fence. SURPRISE! Secondly the illegal folks are also prone to more crime as they would be less likely to report it. So it is agood idea to put up the fence.

i still don't kow how is the world the ninth District courts allowed Rep. Hunter (pressidential candidate) to put up that f14-16 mile fence in San diego, but it worked and cut crime and illegals by 90%.

Someone mentions 'what harm" what a joke, what about the zillion tons of drugs? If we could stop the flow of drugs nd the hordes then it might give us enough time to regroup and figure out what to do. Please don't forget that out of the 8-9 million visas that our great country gives to people from around the world, over a third or 3 MILLION do not honer the visa and when it expires they hid out in the country. So do the math that's 30MM in the last ten yeas. clinton almost tripled legal immigration to 2.5 mil a year, so that's over 20 million, Bush cut n half and now one mil so that another 13 mill.

What do you tell a person when hey lose a loved one t an illegal in a wreck or they lose the only car they got and paid cash for it and could only afford liability nsurance. A sorry dude?

No we have come t far to have the country destroyed and as far as low paying jobs, person last night from New Orleans was a carpenter but couldn't get a job as employees wanting to make money and not pay taxes hired illegals. Many are paying about the same or a little more so they don't have the expense of taxes, health and workers comp. IRS should make each cmpany pay the taxes on cash paid out in the amunt of 1099 taxes.

Why are so many hospitals out of business. Why is it that when someone goes into ER and has to wait because many have stomach aches and the people really hurt have to wait. I have seen it, gun shot, heart attckes and then a million in there getting seen for cough, belly ache. Grow up, would it hurt for Mexico to seal their border instead of allowing million from all over to flood here? One n seven caught are from a terror sponsoring nation.

I think the issue is coming to light more and more on a daily basis. In regards to illegal immigrants being 30% of the federal inmate population, this is true. What is not mentioned about the federal inmate population are the legal immigrants that are in federal prison. When its all said and done, immigrants are about 50% of the federal inmate population.

Many people understand the damage, but obviously many people don't.

I'm tired of the stupid "Jobs Americans won't do." argument: I've mowed lawns, cleaned toilets, washed dishes, stocked shelves, picked fruit, pumped gas, waited tables, delivered pizzas, etc., as I worked my way through school, starting as a boy. My parents and their parents also did "the jobs Americans won't do"... so get over the lie. The problem now is that illegals, particularly from Mexico, are taking jobs that Americans want... and SHAME on the employers who illegally hire illegals; the employers should be severely fined and have their business licenses revoked.

Oh, yes, and there is a conspiracy by the left-leaning MSM to depict all of us in the anti-illegal alien movement as racists, bigots, Nazis and anti-immigrant. We are not anti-immigrant, but we oppose giving amnesty to 20 to 38 million illegal aliens. No amnesty for these criminals!

You are right, there are just not enough resources to go around, so we should be limiting legal immigration, and deporting the criminal invaders.

I think that you are wrong on so many levels. Your point was to say that the massive influx of illegals to this country is less of a problem than we "ignorant americans" make it out to be. How many illegals would it take for you to believe we are being invaded ? one million ? five million ? How about twenty million ? See the truth is that the average american reguardless of what you think is much more well informed than you will admit. I simply believe that you had an agenda you were trying to push and you would mascarade all day long under the guides of objective reporting. Yes ! The average American is much more intelligent than you will admit. They see the damage that an uncontroled border has done to their community, and they are tired of it ! My experience has been that a real account of what is going on could be precieved as xenephobia so alot of the truth is being kept under the shroud of polital correctness.

The actual facts of the problem is that the percentage of criminals among immigrants and the undocumented is tiny. The vast majority to work and do jobs Americansdont want US birthrate is so low that population will age. An influx of young immigrants is essential to pay for social security in the future
