Sorry. Every one I've checked on was a scam. I wish you luck. I'd also like to find one to make a few bucks. I could use some of the time I now spend on Yahoo Answers (which doesn't pay very well).

I was fortunate enough to find a legitimate one about 7 yrs ago when I was staying home with my third child. It was through a local newspaper ad for a small local sales firm. My job was to do data entry and some accounting.

I think nowdays you can check with large local businesses as they seem to be more open to the concept of telecommuting. Some mid-size businesses are getting into the swing of it too -- but understand it from their perspective -- they have to know they can trust you to do the work.

Some may have you connect in at the office periodically, but some may not.

Regardless -- if you call about any online things or anything in the paper, make sure you ask LOTS of questions. If they won't tell you much over the phone about what the business is or what it does, then you've definitely found a scam.

There are NO "Reputable" work from home jobs. They are all scams, get-quick-rich schemes or scams trying to help you start your own business and then leaving you to learn everything on your own.

Surveys are legitimate, but they now pay out very little money. In fact most of the time they just put your name in a sweepstakes or lottery to win prizes, so they dont have to pay out ar all.

There ARE reputable companies in the US that offer people the opportunity to telecommute and you don't pay a fee. It depends on what you want to do. Most generally you need an up to date computer, good computer skills, a hard line phone (no wireless),DSL, good phone voice, good people skills, a guaranteed quite work space and then of course each company has their own requirements.

Hi,

Well,
Most of those sites make you pay some kinf of fee which is really dumb in my opinion.I have taken surveys from legit market research companies and have earned some extra
cash.If you want a legit site that has a lot of companies that will send you surveys I suggest you look at the one listed as a source. This site is completely free with no hassles.Basically they just have a lot of companies and surveys listed from different countries that you can try and test out without ever spending any money.

There are none that are reputable. Only if a company will make you a W-2 employee and pay unemployment and health insurance are they in the ball park of legitimate.

Many jobs allow employees to telecommute at least part of the time. But if you are talking about an ad for "work from home on your computer" they're pretty much all scams.
