You are not likely to find a "free" Doberman dog, adult or puppy. You may check with the animal shelters to see if they have something available. However, I would recommend that you *don't* get another pet, even an adult dog, unless you're willing to spend a few dollars getting it the proper vaccinations it needs. I'm sorry you lost your puppy, but it could have been prevented had you had your puppy vaccinated. You can even buy the medication and administer it yourself if you don't want to pay a vet to give the shot.

Finding a free doberman is like finding a purple duck....
It CAN happen... but its unlikley and rare and if you do find one... theres probably a catch. Dobermans are not a very rare breed, but a speacial one so they are usually expensive.
You should have had your dobe vaccinated against parvo... but maybe you had a reason.
When you get your new dobie please get them vaccinated with everything becuase you obviously see that it can happen.
I would look into shelters and rescues if you want to find one for a good price.

Try your town's "craiglist.com" online. It includes everything! There's always an adult dog looking for a great home. But, you must realize nothing is "free"..vaccinations are really important to the life of a pet and worth the money. Be sure you can afford to care for the pet first.

First of all...why did you not have your puppy vaccinated against parvo? I know you're hurting, but that was sooo preventable. If you cannot (or simply will not) spend the money to properly care for another dog, then you simply shouldn't get one.

You could try the Humane Society or a dog pound or animal control facility in your area. You should always get your dog the shots it needs.
