You can't get a quick fix for everything in life.
It's ok to feel pain. Only time will heal it.

I'm sorry, but there are no shortcuts to the grief process. It is different for everyone. Some may be ok in a few months, for others it may be longer. Life will go on, and it's important to remember that you are not being disloyal to your loved one by continuing to live life, or by being happy.

Some people hold onto their grief because they feel that, if they let go too quickly, it will mean they didn't really care enough about the person who is gone. It's important to know that going on with life is not the same as leaving them behind. They are always with you, in your heart and memories.

As time passes, the painful memories of their death will fade and the good memories of your time together and the best parts of who they were to you will be the biggest part of what you remember.

Give yourself time, and give yourself room to feel your feelings. There is no time limit for "getting over it". There is no right or wrong way to grieve. I wish you the best.

Well its really hard to get through something like that my friend died in a car accident last month i'm still not getting over that but i talk to my friends about it, i think of the good times we had together and i also think of him being in a better place now (Heaven) I'm happy and sad about it but i know he is in heaven the worst part of it is that he was 14 and i liked him alot but i'm sorta kinda happy that he is gone cuz he was a great guy and i know he is in heaven with God

If any of this offends you in any way i'm sorry.

You'll probably never really get over it. You just have to realize that life does go on, and the person that is now deceased would want you to continue on with your life. We never forget these people, they will always be remembered. I'm sorry for your lose.

There is no easy way to "get over" losing someone. Get real.

If it's easy, you're probably not over it.

Go out, do things, miss your friend, live your life, and be with people.
