Unless they needed to make an emergency call then no...I would be afraid of them running off with it.

Yes, depending what i feel is right. Emergency or need a ride sure, but to talk to a partner for fun no. cause they can go home for that. Also if i feel they will not run away with my phone LOL. You cant trust anyone, so i can see why some people would not.

only if there was a crime taking place , in no way would i let a stranger use my cell phone in NYC, theres tons of payphones around.

At school I let people use my phone sometimes, but I'm always a bit leery that they'll run off with it, so I don't if I'm by myself.
