soy protein isolates and whey protein isolates are comparable as to the nutrient profile and bioavailability. pretty much personal preference as to which one to use. most likely you will find more flavors of whey available than you will of soy protein isolates. men should only use soy protein isolates, women can use regular soy protein or soy protein isolates.

They are similar in nutrient content, but each has its considerations. Soy has been linked to increased estrogens, and whey could contain hormones or chemicals if it's not organic. Soy could also have trace amounts of chemicals if not organic.

They are both good sources but I prefer the taste of whey
