THE ENCOUNTER
1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, 3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in0the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
Ezekiel is among the exile community by the Chebar River and he sees a revelation from the Elohiym.

It is rather clear that Ezekiel did see some strange things! From a quick reading of chapter one, it becomes apparent that Ezekiel saw a “great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself ” (vs. 4), four living creatures from within the cloud (vs. 5), a wheel beside each living creature (vs. 15), and the rims of the wheels full of eyes (vs. 18), among many other things. Indeed, the things seen by Ezekiel were amazing and unusual to say the least.

I don't think he saw a a UFO! He was allowed the special privilege of being called by God through an amazing vision of the heavenly host. Which would be even more amazing actually!

(1) Chemical imbalances in the brain caused by hallucinogens.
(2) Chemical imbalances caused by schizophrenia.

this is God's creatures...if you want to call what God has a UFO..that is fine....but it is actually "identified" in the vision.
