I need sum ideas on snacks and afters/puddings for my 2 daughters, who are 2 and 3 year old. Im looking for quite healthy ideas, no sweets etc as i like to limit sweet stuff.
My 3 year old will eat anything (she currently has snacks of any fruit.... grapes, apple, melon, banana, oranges, strawberries, etc, also snacks include cheese, limited maize crisp snacks, limited biscuits, carrot sticks, yoghurt, custard etc), whereas my 2 year old is awkward, she is fussy with lumps, especially hard lumps, (she currently snacks on cheese, banana, strawberries, limited maize snacks and biscuits, yoghurt, custard etc).
I just need a few more ideas please, thanks.

Bread sticks
rice cakes mini ones

I think you are doing very well with what they are already eating. Dont worry too much.
I have 5 children and you cannot make them eat things if they do not like them. I have 4 who eat everything which I think is very lucky but one who wont eat very much. Therefore I dont worry too much but just give her the healthy things I know she likes and try introducing things all of the time (little bit at a time as their taste buds change at different ages)

How about "ants on a log?" Take celery sticks, coat them with peanut butter (provided that your kids do not have peanut allergies) and stick little raisins or "ants" on them.

My favorite are those 100 cal. cheese sticks. They come in all sorts of kinds ranging from cheddar to mozzarella.

Better yet, get your blender, some ice, some frozen fruit, and some fruit juice (reduced sugar) and make smoothies for the kids! It's like a fruit shake (the ones at Jamba Juice have too much sugar, even the lighter smoothies).

Don't forget the Cheerios!! Oats are wonderful nutrition! Also for some fiber and to fill them up - cinnamon apple oatmeal. Otherwise, it sounds like you are on the right track. One thing that is also good for a hot snack - chicken nuggets or mini corndogs - vegetarian only. They taste the same and that way you are also getting some vegetable protein into them.

Goldfish crackers and dry cereal (like Cheerios) might qualify as a slightly healthier version of chips/crackers. Yogurt or string cheese is another good snack. That being said, continue to offer the fruits and veggies. Let them help decide which ones to buy. Serve them with dips like yogurt, peanut butter, or a bit of salad dressing. (You can even make your own healthier veggie dip by mixing cottage cheese, yogurt, and a packet of Ranch mix.)

I have a 3 yo and a 16 month old. Here are some of our favorite snacks (we are all-natural eaters):
-green smoothie- 2 cups spinach, 1-2 frozen bananas thawed a bit, cold water for thinning out- puree into a smooth consistency- DELICIOUS! (if they are turned off by the green, add blueberries-turns it purple!)
-banana toast- whole grain bread, banana, drizzled with blackstrap molasses (high in calcium and magnesium), sprinkle with cinnamon and toast in the oven
-carrot yummy- in a food processor mix up almonds, sesame seeds, dates and a little honey (less than tablespoon). stir in shredded carrots
-banana taco- whole wheat tortilla, spread peanut butter across it and wrap a banana in it (or apple slices)
-air popped popcorn with dulse granules (sea vegetable)

hope your kiddos like these as much as mine do!

When I baby sat my little niece I would give her slices of apple and celery with peanut butter. I also gave her grilled cheese sandwiches with turkey. Hope this helps=)

Pop some corn & have it plain

Shreddies are nice straight out of the packet but not too many or they'll probably get the runs!
