Dennis Avery says science shows climate change is a natural occurrence and is happening at a much slower rate than some are led to believe.
He says his view is “not a theory.”
“Global warming is a theory,” said Avery, an ag economist and director for the Center for Global Food Issues in Washington, D.C.

More and more scientist are abandoning the whole "Global Warming" sham. "An Inconvient Truth" had so many mistruths and exaggerations in it that it should be placed in the science fiction section of the video store. What we're witnessing here is a natural cycle the Earth goes through. Isnt it ironic how we didnt here anything about Global Warming when Al Gore was in office? I smell a rat.

Dude! My entire weekend was wasted on the prediction of rain in the weather forecast! Have you any idea how much yard work I could have accomplished? So much for predictions by the people in the know.

Why do people fall for this stuff? Because they get some guy to stand up and sound like he knows something. They'll believe anybody who sounds smarter than they are! Even if he's a politician!

How about the dumbing down of the USA. Schools 'might' teach that CO2 is a heavier molecule that falls in the atmosphere - but then turn around and say the CO2 in the higher atmosphere is causing a 'heat trapping effect' - Scientists haven't even proven that any appreciable amount of CO2 can be found in the higher atmosphere.
How about a heard mentality promoted by the 'peace centers' (bastions of communist idealism) to recruit DUPES to carry placards, SCREAM and cause public disturbances the socialistic new media feeds on.
How about 'phony' forums that get children to SCREAM 'The Sky Is Falling' we will ALL DIE!

because the higher ups in the global warming scam, as words of the founder of the weather channel there, is using peoples fears to try and bring on a socialist style of government. I do believe the planet is warming. I do not believe man is to blame though. Al Gore's movie has been proved to have so many half truths and distortions its unbelievable. You have RFK jr going on national TV lying his face off. When someone is going to quote a dictionary they need to know the definition.
I do believe one day we will see global warming being proved a scam like the global cooling scare in the 70s.
If I was you I'd expect to get reported, they do not like people opposing them and giving other views on the matter.

There always have been, there are, and there will always be those people who think man is the most evil thing ever to appear on the face of this Earth.
These people will always blame man for all of the Earths changes and problems. They are unable to celebrate the good and genius of man and his creations.

Why do people fall for the no responsibility cop-out?
Even if there is no climate change, is it OK for 5% of the planet's human population to consume 25% of the entire planet's natural resources, and then produce 28% of the total pollution?
Is it OK to be wasteful, and shun new green concepts just because the status-quo is easier for your brain to deal with?
Why do people play around with statistics by taking them out of context to change their meaning?
Why can't some people see the big picture and become part of the solution, rather than being part of the same old problem?
Why can't some people understand a simple concept that our current rates of consumption exceed the capacity of the planet to sustain our non-sustainable life styles?

perhaps you should get your facts from someone other than this dennis avery. in the past (ie before 20th century) it has been 98% nature, but now it is humans. its not the temperature increase that has already happened that is the problem, it is the projected increases of anywhere from 1 to 6 degrees global temperature rise in the 21st century. this would surely melt the icecaps, which is why people are trying to stop global warming BEFORE it happens, as opposed to people like you who would have to be drowning in the meltwater from the icecaps before their small stubborn little minds could be changed.

Did u not watch the inconveienet Truth video?> It might only raise by that much, but it def adds up by time.. and in the last 5 years it has increased like 10 times more then like 50 years ago... nd there is no way 98% is caused by nature. I live in the city and its full of smog, and it disquesting. When i go to the countryside its soo nice and the air is so much better.. can u explain that?
They proved that fossil fuels are causing it. and other things. SO I SUGGEST U start contributing and carriong about this. cuzz soon.. i dont even kno wats goinb to happen but it cant be good:(
