I don't remember the bible mentioning a 'universe'.
I don't know what they thought the stars were.
Me, personally, I think there is one energy that binds everything together.

The Bible does not say that God created only one universe. There are many creations of God that is beyond human comprehension.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
I Corinthians 2:9

Well, if the writers back then knew what we knew today, the Bible would probably have different stuff in it, like, "Let's pray we don't get sucked into a Black Hole", and the apocryphal writings would look more like science-fiction, with a future Noah driving an 'Ark' deep into space to find and colonize a new world rather than sit here and try to clean up this place.
They had no concept back then of the scientific knowledge that we have started to tap into today, so they wrote only of the universe that they could see with their bare eyes.

The Lord Jesus Christ created all things. If there is more than one universe then He created. Ephesians 3: 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

It just says that God created heaven and earth and everything in it.
Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. John 1: 3

The universe is without a beginning or an end. Like a wedding band.

As the Biblical description of this world is so wrong , I wouldn't set much store by anything else it says.
