Any, depends on how old the youngest partner is.
For example ''16 year old girl, 30 year old bloke''
Hmm, not good.
''30 year old girl, and 46 year old bloke''.
No one would bat an eyelid.
Go figure.
In my view, if both are happy, and no laws are broken, then go for it, but expect some ppl to disagree.
Good luck.

Well for starters, i think the acceptable age gap increases as the people involved become older.
So if you have a 14 year old and a 17 year old, even though it is only 3 years, it is too much imo.
If you have an 18 year old and a 25 year old, even though it is only 7 years then it is on the boundary.
Once they get past 20 then i'd say a 10 year difference is ok, just, so a 25 year old and a 35 year old.
Anything more than 16 years is getting a bit weird, because the older one could be the parent of the younger...

tough one! I don't think it's about age but experience & attitudes towards things. I saw a girl 11 years younger than I am (38/27) and for ages it was fine. But eventually cracks developed because we saw things differently and without detailing some of these were age related. But that was us - not everyone is effected that way and may be ok.
In short age is not the issue - compatibility is, like every other relationship! Possibly just harder to achieve with a big gap

When you're in your teens age gaps can be a big deal but as you get older it won't seem much of an issue anymore. For teens I'd say 2/3 years apart and adults, 10.

Im 43 and my guy is 21. We are going on 4 years. What ever works for people works. What is acceptable is for people who judge. To each their own. Same age relationships dont seem to be working out that great so why do people keep banging their heads againt the wall. Try something different. You won't die from it. It is called life experience. Different cultures are different.

It all depends on the people in the relationship, there is no right or wrong age gap.

Age is just a number, as long as both parties in the realtionship are happy, the age gap shouldn't be a problem. Tell busybodies to keep their nose out of your business!

I've been in a relationship with my partner now for nearly 3 years, i'm 22, and she's 36.
As long as your both happy and nobody suffers because of it, what's the problem.
If anything, i think that our relationship's been good for everyone involved, her 2 children now have what i deem myself to be a 'good role model', as their father couldn't give a toss, so they've benefited too.
Like a TV commercial one said, you wont know if it's going to work until you 'suck it and see!'
