A dogs first heat can be usually anytime from 6 months to 1 1/2 years ol. then they usually have every 6 months.
If you are not planning on breeding it is best to have her spayed before the heat. No mess, no chance of an accidental breeding, and can help prevent some cancers.

When she is about 6 months old. She stays in heat for a month and bleeds for two weeks. A girl dog is in heat usually twice a year. Hope this helped!

can be any time from 7 months onwards, depends on breed and size, my advice is unless you want to breed from her, get her spayed at about 6 months old
