no i did not whatch it i think it is boring and ya it takes real talent to walk around a ring and look pretty i like agility so sorry i did not whatch it. and you guys can ive me thumbs down but come on. it is true so you can ive me all the thumbs down you want i am just telling you what i think dogs want a job to run and have fun not get a bath all the time and get brushed everyday. my dogs would go crazy the would die without agility. so i know no one will agree with me but that is what i think. just go to an agility trial sometime and see how much fun it is dogs go over obstacles and here is a video of it these are some people i know

With AKC (the Nat. Dog Show is an AKC show) only the Dachshunds are shown with three different coat types (Smooth, Wirehaired and Longhair). Although Parson Russell Terriers (Jack Russell Terriers) may have three different coat types, they aren't divided for shows.

Yes I watch the dog show on Thanksgiving. There are a lot of breeds of dogs that have three different coat types.
Dachshund has 'short' 'long' and 'rough'

Try going to the National dog shows website. That may be helpful. ( Sorry but I don't know what it is. Try google to find it. )

Daschund alway sends 3 coat varieties (smooth, wire, long) to the group ring (assuming they are all present) because the three coats are shown in seprate classes. All the others group multiple coat types togher and send only one to the group ring.

PS I knew one of the handlers in the hound ring - she had an amusing tale of trying to keep her pup from chasing the TV camera cord!

I watched that show and I think it was the Dachshunds that made it to the finals with all three coat varieties. As far as shows generally, there are several breeds that have coat varieties. Come to think of it I think the Dachshunds are the only breed in three coat types. Most of the other two are two varieties!!

Well theres many dogs with a few different coat types. The only kind i can think of with 3 are daschunds, they are either wirehaired, smooth-coated, or longhaired. =) I didn't watch the whole dog show so I dont know if thats it, sorry.

Oh YAY Thumbs down fairy found us all!

Not sure about the coats, but I did watch the show. I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and his uncle won Best of Breed!

i like it, yet i'm getting so pissed off because of the fact it is so heavily edited. they simply concentration on the canine that place. i've got additionally heard them supply out undesirable suggestions a ton of circumstances. Shelties are mini collies? relatively??? My regular area of the tutor is while they are at the back of the scenes with the digicam (in many circumstances the lead-in returning from commercial).

I believe there are a number of breeds with three different coat types.

Jack Russells have 'smooth', 'broken' and 'rough'.

Or are you simply referring to that particular show, where there were three different dogs with three different coats?

There are three breeds I can think of:

Dachshund - Longhair, smooth, wirehair

Parson Russell Terrier - smooth, rough, and broken coated

Chinese Shar Pei - "horse", "brush", and "bear" coats
