If you are into rock climibing, in nearby New Paltz, the Shawagunk Mountains is actually world renowned for the challenging cliffs and the spectacular view once you get ot the top.
There IS a movie theater and bowling alley in Catskill or if you are looking for malls, not too far away in Kingston.
If you are into partying/nightlife...check out the link below in nearby Tannersville.

Have you ever been snowshoeing? We went to Plattekill Mountain this past winter and they offered guided snowshoe hikes! We rode the lift and hiked the top of the mountain. The views were amazing! We just did a beginner mountain biking class with them too! Lots of fun! Highly recommend them.
