That some people don't know the difference between Catholics and Christians...they think all Christians are Catholic......wish they would learn the difference.

That most of the questions are just posted to mock God..there is a lot of tares among the wheat.

That some people just keeping asking the same questions over and over...

That I still want to come here, in spite of that,,,so that maybe,,,,just maybe,,,,someone really does want an honest answer to an honest question.

Nothing. I usually don't come here. I'm only here now because you are one of my contacts. I use to stop by here occasionally, but only found people spewing hate and malice. So actually, I guess that is something I learned in this category.

I have learned that people need to open up their eyes and minds, and just understand that if a belief makes someone happy, then they should just be happy for them rather than bombard them with reasons about why they are going to hell. I am not an extremely religious person, but if somebody tries to tell me I'm wrong, I am very likely to exclude that person from any part of my life because it is rude, and I'm pretty sure most people would want to do the same.

That there is no sense arguing religion. My Faith is personal and nothing anyone on here says will destroy it. If I argue with non-believers, I am actually doing them harm and tempting them to say even more things they will someday have to be accountable for if they are wrong. I don't force my Faith on anyone and I find an arrogance in those who want to label Christians as ignorant. I am not going to call their beliefs or choice not to believe as ignorant, it is just their choice. If I go through life believing in God, what have I lost if I am wrong. If they do NOT believe and are wrong, there could be consequences.

When people are so afraid to die and become nothing, like every other living thing that has ever existed, you find "peace" in some old ancient book written by goat herders.

Scary stuff.

I have learned that the idiocy that is religious faith is alive and well and no amount of reasoning will wake some people out of their pleasant delusion.

I have learned that for all those who ridicule, insult and malign, there are actually a few who ask sincere questions because they sincerely want to know.
