"Stay until the job's done" I wish I could use that line for when i work on my projects at work. My boss would fire me if I didn't get the job done while carrying a huge pay putting him in debt.

4 years and counting which will stretch out to 10 for 2013 with still no guarantees the first deadline promised was only 6 months.

Somehow the guys in charge neet to wake up and discover what most of us already know, we are juist throwing away the blood of our soldiers and making the world a more dangerous place while we do it. Just like VIetnam.

These guys are like a a bunch of alcoholics saying I can control it and will stop it tomorrow. They are in denial.

How many people remember 'mission accomplished' or hey this war will only cost us $85 billion and we wiull make that back as soon as the oil starts pumping?

Yes it could have been worked out, yes the longest war we've been in. What is the answer? Signed contracts This admin acts like androids sometimes. They lower taxes, give everyone $300 (It taxes filed), then throw throw some much money around to programs and things that even the most liberal democrat blushes. Hope that go get back on the "Road map to peace" thing again as we don't need another Katrina. Leave it alone and concentrate on fixing America, like a fence that would slow the hordes and drugs. or maybe tax the drug people in and out of the country, that would pay for everything and might lead to places they don't want it to lead to.

Never know Lincoln was despised and then one of the greatest. Just don't understand it sometimes. Watch Three Days of the Condor.

Any method to end the pathetic blunder in Iraq is an acceptable reason.

The invasion should never have happened.

The Dubya's own father advised him not to engage in his imitation macho episode. This [ I'll show Daddy how it's done] inadequate son's indulgence, even if the Party promised a pay back to Halliburton, is excusable for one death only, that of The Dubya himself.

Duby should have invaded Iraq by himself, with whatever weapon he fantasized was a really macho assault weapon, tried to acquire the oil production for Halliburton, deposed Saddam and then and only then call himself, "The War President" If Dubya met his maker on this incredibly moronic indulgence then at least he might have had some sort of a not completely embarrassing legacy.

To subject our military to blunders such as Iraq is absolutely...unforgivable.

The gross incompetence exhibited by this administration is a world class example of why families should not succeed each other in government and incompetents such the Republican Party of God in
A-Mur-A-Ka should never be placed in positions of authority..

I would not be surprised if many senior Republicans were brought up on charges when and if we ever return to our senses.

only politicians and fools try to create deadlines on tasks that no one has ever successfully accomplished before.

even your boss knows that some of the goals the big bosses want are not possible within available resources and this year.

The multi-national defense corporations will loose money if we pull out. Their best interest is at stake here. Why we don't see that is beyond me!
What's a few thousand dead Americans and over a million dead Iraqis when you're talking about REAL PROFIT MARGINS?

You were NEVER promised a deadline of any kind. No one was.

You are railing against the nature of war. Time for you to leave these matters to people who understand them.

I understand where you are coming from but announcing a time line will just give the enemy an attack schedule.
