I'm 13 years old and have a bit of fat (seems a bit more than most people) and i do loads of exercise. Monday: School studios(fliming and editing that kind of stuff), Tuesday: running (with my dad) Wednesday: 2 hours of table tennis, Thursday air cadets(a lot of marching and stuff), Friday: 2 hours of karate, Saturday 2and a half hours of badminton Sunday: Sometimes nothing or karate special 3 hours classes or gradings. (also sometimes go skiing for holidays if my mum and dad can afford it). Eat quite healthy, salad with every meal don't snack much as I'm not really that hungry. My dad had 'puppy fat' but he's the only 1 in the family who had (he lost it when he was 16). So is it puppy fat ,and if it is, is there anyway i can hurry it up to go?

For that 'quite healthy' bit; the only time I eat unhealthy is on a friday when i have a pizza. The other days are usally stuff like pasta, haloumi cheese, stuffed pepers or whatever else is liad on the table lol (I'm not really a very good cook)

I think it must be puppy fat, as you seem to be doing a lot of exercise and activities to keep your body fit, as well as eating healthily and not snacking

Being a teen is tough, as you are coping with so much physically and mentally. Everything seems to be changing, but never fast enough. Be patient, Calum, you will find that in a year or two you will start to turn that puppy fat in to muscle, and if you continue with all that healthy stuff you are doing, you are going to look great.

Keep up the good work and you will be pleasantly rewarded.

xx

Hmmm-why change? Canidae is one of the best for the money. Never heard of Orijen. Many dog food manufacturers have changed their formulas in the last year due to the 'rice protein' and 'toxic corn' problems with "Natural Balance" and "Diamond" that killed or sickened many dogs. So many labels have changed recently, some dramatically. Even Wal-Marts "Maximum Nutrition" is now an acceptable dog food. But for about $.78 per # -you can do better at a Pet Food store-like Pet Supplies Plus. I have not seen a good food in Petsmart though.

baby fat is found on babies, hence the name. the body grows and fills out between the ages of 6-11.

you stated that you "eat quite healthy" but gave no examples. many people think they are eating healthy when in reality they really aren't. it's obvious that you are getting sufficient exercise so your problem lies in your diet and/or eating habits.

Everyone needs a bit of fat. Everyone freaks out ("OMG I'M FAT!!!")Fat is actually natural, people who are underweight are the ones who need to worry. Unless you look like the person below, you are perfectly fine.
