It can't.........we need Biblical guidelines to support this.
Nothing, and no one can save our souls except a living and saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

How can just going to church anytime save my soul unless I open my soul to the grace of Christ and live in the state of grace?
I go to church every day and often twice on Sat and at least twice on Sunday and its usually Catholic Church in which I hear God's Word and receive Jesus actual Body and Blood
Sunday is the lord's day, the weekly memorial and celebration of Jesus' Resurrection. If one wants a legal OT and Jewish Shabbat,Saturday is the day for it.I usually work on Saturday. God bless and let us all pray for each other.

Going to any church on any day, isn't going to save your soul. It's strictly your personal relationship with your maker that is going to save you or not. Churches have far too much power. They seem to think they have all the answers but, in actuality only you can "save" your soul. It's the personal relationship you develop between yourself and the Almighty that determines whether your soul is 'saved' or not. Only your belief and faith in Jesus Christ can 'save' your soul, not a church building or preacher. So, use your common sense and faith to get right with Christ. Getting right with Him, is your only hope of saving your soul and don't let anyone else tell you different. Many people are quite content to let the preachers run/save their lives. Don't make the same mistake. You will be held accountable for your own decisions. You were born with freedom of thought. Study to show thyself approved.

Going to church on Saturday or Sunday cannot save your soul.
If you are acknowledging that your soul needs to be saved, then trust what Jesus, God the Son, did to save you. He suffered greatly and died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead to pay the penalty of sin. If you ask Him to cleanse you and you want to follow Him, accepting His way, He will. Then you will have the gift of eternal life which begins at the point of acceptance and continues forever.

The Sabbath (Saturday) and the "Lord's Day" (Sunday) are two different things, and the Catechism makes that plain and clear.
A quote from the Catechism Of The Catholic Church:
CCC 2174 - Jesus rose from the dead "on the first day of the week." Because it is the "first day," the day of Christ's Resurrection recalls the first creation. Because it is the "eighth day" following the sabbath, it symbolizes the new creation ushered in by Christ's Resurrection. For Christians it has become the first of all days, the first of all feasts, the Lord's Day (he kuriake hemera, dies dominica)—Sunday:
CCC 2175 - Sunday is expressly distinguished from the sabbath which it follows chronologically every week; for Christians its ceremonial observance replaces that of the sabbath. In Christ's Passover, Sunday fulfills the spiritual truth of the Jewish sabbath and announces man's eternal rest in God. For worship under the Law prepared for the mystery of Christ, and what was done there prefigured some aspects of Christ:
Those who lived according to the old order of things have come to a new hope, no longer keeping the sabbath, but the Lord's Day, in which our life is blessed by him and by his death.

That way, you can go party it up after church and sleep off your hangover Sunday morning.
