I usually mute the commercials.

There is a commercial where the whole picture flips, and it makes me physically ill. I think it was an ad for some kind of SUV.

I hate the commercial for Netflix. The mother on that commercial is so irritating!

I don't watch commercials. I have a home-made DVR box to record TV, and I also download shows off the internet. Before the days of DVR, I still didn't watch commercials, I'd leave the room, or mute the box and read or something else. If I did happen to see a commercial I didn;t like, instead of not watching it. I'd send them an email or paper letter telling them I am boycotting their product because they made an annoying commercial.

I have a button that I press and can't hear a thing. Sponsors really hate this. When there's too many commercials, I switch the channel.
