I wouldn't want to dedicate my whole life for him, to live by his rules, do what he says all the time. Does anyone agree with me?

The cons of living a Godly life are that it is someone else's life, not my own, therefore defeating the purpose of living, from my point of view. Also I can be every bit as moral without believing in God, so the real advantage lies in living a life without God.

Yes, I agree. I mean, if God is so egotistical and picky that, if I didn't live a Christian life, or whatever religion (extremely hypothetically speaking) leads to him, nor worship him everyday, even though I lived honestly, and morally, he would STILL send me to hell, I'd rather NOT be in his "heaven."

Lots of people look for peace/happiness in accumulated wealth, prestige, career, sex.. the truth is that all of these are temporary distractions from the God filled vaccuum in our hearts. Surrendering ourselves to God's plan for our life is the ONLY possibility of obtaining real lasting peace/happiness for our lives. Its why we were created, anything else is going against our true nature

If I knew there were a god, and I knew he wanted me to do something, and I knew there were severe consequences for not doing it, and I knew there was no way to get away with it, you can bet I would comply.
But ancient books of nonsense that people claim is the will of a god hardly makes for a compelling case in that regard.

That is your choice. That is why hell exists. It is a place devoid of all of His light and love. In fact, if you keep staying in this place and opinion, God will strengthen your resolve according to your free will choice.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool."

The Bible does not say that sex is a sin, it says that "screwing around" is a sin. God is true; it is man that is false. So biblically speaking the rule is don't screw around at screwing around.

Yep. Same here. If he existed, I wouldn't worship him by the rules we're told we have to. My life doesn't need to be that vacuous and insipid.
So, looks like I'm off to hell. Except it doesn't exist. Hooray!

you will reap what you sown.
if you lied..somebody will lie back
if you steal..somebody will steal from you
if you cheated somebody will cheat you
if you break the law..you will have no grace or mercy.
GOD is a spiritual being.
and god enemies is satan and demons.
and we are the prize.
under GOD as one nation...we trust in HIM.
we will have help and miracle and grace.
under satan..you'll have diseases..sickeness..bad luck
no grace..no favor..work harder and shorten lives.
for sin bring death.
theblood of JESUS pay for your sins.
so you are now a child of GOD a citizen of heaven..favor will seek you..

Certainly. But that is simply because we have no evidence to suggest what such rules might be; if there were such, they might simply agree with what we had already been doing.
