Jeff Gordon would have won it. Johnson would have made up a little ground on Gordon towards the end of the season but Gordon was too consistant for Johnson to catch him.

Jeff Gordon would have won his 6th championship & if Jimmy Spencer said unfortunately Jeff Gordon, that's a lot coming from a guy who couldn't find victory lane & when did he ever win a race, I can't remember when.
