Honestly the high metabolism isn't a much of a problem as what your eating. Trust me I have a high metabolism I'm also a swimmer and I can still put on weight. It really comes down your diet, what you consider a normal diet for a normal person may not work for you. You should be eating a meal, not a snack mind you but a full meal 5-6 times a day along with 2-3 snacks. Eat plenty of protein at least 1.5 times your body weight in grams.

Hi, you need a high protein diet (eggs, chicken etc) you will probably also need to include a supplement powder in ur diet, the best one is BSN true mass or syntha 6, they taste good 2 but are quite expensive. Maximuscle also has good ones and they r cheaper but dont taste as good. If ur still having probs go see a nutritionist and they will help but trust me i know these products work bcoz my boyfriend has an overactive thyroid and by using BSN true mass while training he has become overweight (with muscle not fat)lol. Best of luck, i hope this helps you x

large heavy meals slow your metabolism down because your body struggles to process it pasta is a good exsample and is a good thing to eat the day before you lift so on your off days
