no she didnt GIVE it to you~ it isnt contagious.
however I think your chances of getting cancer go up a bit if yu have a parent or grandparent that has had cancer, but it dosent mean You WILL get it~ but i am not 100% sure~ im not a specialist.
but then again people that ave NO family history of cancer, can get it!!
Do you have it or are you curious because your mom had it?

The American Cancer Society provides the following list of risk factors for cervical cancer: human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, smoking, HIV infection, chlamydia infection, dietary factors, hormonal contraception, multiple pregnancies, use of the hormonal drug diethylstilbestrol (DES) and a family history of cervical cancer.

Hope this answer helps. If you need more info I found this on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cervical_cancer#Causes.

How do you know you have it? It is very rare for someone your age to have this....It is more common in women over 48 and you must have been exposed to HPV (human papiloma virus) either through a sex partner, by touch or kissing a carrier.
