When having a b/m there is nothing but blood coming out. She has not eaten for 4 days, she is drinking water occasionally. I take her outside and she stands to urinate. Her respiration is 28, she appears to be resting comfortably and is alert. I don't know what to do..

..I did not want her put to sleep, but wanted her to pass naturally. I am afraid at this point she is starving to death. Can the bleeding be stopped? Should I try to keep her living? I have had this dog since she was 4 wks. old and we love each other. I am not trying to keep her alive for myself. I just don't know what to do.

Hun, I am so sorry. What a difficult time and a difficult decision. If she was my dog I would help her pass into Heaven at this point. Her quality of life is not good. A dog who does not eat is a dog in pain. I believe it is her time. Help her to be pain free. She has given you nothing but love and devotion for the last 15 years, now she is relying on you to help her to rest comfortably. Find peace in knowing she will be with all of our beloved pets we have lost to the Rainbow Bridge. You will see her again someday in Heaven, but for now please help her along. This is no life for her. God needs this little angel.

I am sorry.
I know she is in pain I have had a slipped disk.
Yes she is starving and probably not eating due to the pain she is in.
teh most humane thing is to have her put to sleep.
Thereis no way to stop the bleeding. I am truly sorry
Maybe this poem can help
PUT ME TO REST

Time to let me go my friend,
Because my life no-one can mend,
Its better to let me go this way,
Than watch me suffer night and day.

I'm happy to go, my time has come,
My quality of life is no longer fun,
Ive been so ill, so its not a bad thing,
To let me go forever resting.

Stay with me till I drift away,
Fast asleep forever I pray,
To relieve me from suffering and pain,
What more can I ask from my best friend.

Don't be sad, I'll be free from pain,
Never to be ill ever again,
I know you'll miss me being there,
But all the memories you have to share.

Thankyou for being my best friend,
And all my needs that you did tend,
Try not to be sad, try not to cry,
Now's the time to say GOODBYE PUT ME TO REST
