1. I believe in some religious principles, but not most of what many humans say about them, including what has been written in holy books ... while they are supposed to be the word of God, they were written & edited by humans, mainly men in patriarchical societies.

2. I oppose some wars, and favor others.

I was opposed to the War in Iraq starting, but now that there is a horrible mess over there, I am opposed to USA leaving without first cleaning up that mess, that was largely of the US creation, and if not cleaned up will be fuel for massive terrorism elsewhere in the world.

Iraq was a source of hot air about terrorism before the war. Now it is a recruiting ground for terrorists against our way of life. The USA is responsible for the change. Now we really have a challenge to clean up.

I am glad Saddam has been removed from power, but the cost of doing this has been enormous.

The mess in Iran is also of the US making, and the cost to clean that up may be the total destruction of the USA. I think the US has done more than enough damage over there, and it is time for hands off ... let someone else try to clean up the mess.

However, i will not be surprised if the current war between US and Iran escalates dramatically in the cuoming years. Currently the war is at the stage like where the war with Vietnam was when only US advisors were over there. Difference being that Vietnam was never a threat to US interests, while the Middle East is much more serious business.

3. I do not smoke cigarettes, or consume any tobacco products.

4. I am a fiscal conservative and a social moderate.

5. No, I believe Climate Change is a natural event that has occurred many times in the history of our planet Earth. I believe that it is not caused by the action or inaction of man, but there are things we do to acelerate the change, decelerate it, make it worse, moderate it etc.

No, I am NON believer but very interested in different religions, I have a Buddhist teacher (Buddhist ideology sees that all living things have intrinsic value) and am interested in Paganism for the same supportive Environmental views.

No, I find it difficult/impossible to support any political party wholesale. Agree or disagree on individual issues only.
