WHEN YOU OWE A DEBT, you are SLAVE to the one you owe it to. Do not go in debt to do anything. Save your money til you have enough to get started. When you pay your employees, if any, pay them at the end of the day. Not bi-weekly or weekly, or monthly, as many think is okay becasue the world does it.

My dad has a saying, "Can't never did do anything"

Put forth the effort and don't be slothful at it. Work hard at it and you are PROMISED to eventually be successful. That does not mean every business idea is a good one. Failure in certain areas are to be expected AND LEARNED FROM. That does not mean you are to quit. And regardless if one fails in a particular business, this does not mean they are incapable or are a failure as a whole. YOU will never know until you try,,,, AND you will always regret it if you do not try.
If at first you don't succeed,,,,,try, try again!

BUT STAY OUT OF DEBT...... search on net for "Dave Ramsey" radio program, he has fair advice from a Scriptural perspective.

I thank Yahweh for my success. I was working a eight to five job, almost living paycheck to paycheck about 10 years ago. Went into business for myself and now could retire at 44. I wished I had done it earlier. I have no debt, own 2 farms, homes, business, and all equipment. Praise Yahweh for it all! I also observe a lunar based scriptural sabbath. This means my open and closed days vary from month to month in accordance witht he phases of the moon. This is confusing for the customers. But non-the-less, business has grown.

The Bible always speaks of doing everything with integrity. We are never to do anything that would cause another to stumble. As well as Christians are always to obey the law. Running a business would be just the same as running our lives.
(Galatians 6:2) “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37-40). If we do these two things, we will be fulfilling all that Christ wants for us to do, “This is love for God: to obey his commands.
We are to love God and love our neighbors. If we do those two things faithfully, everything else will fall into place.

Interesting question! There's actually a book about it, which highlights every verse having to do with running a business and being a leader, in every aspect of the word. It's called Jesus, CEO: Using Ancient Wisdom for Visionary Leadership, written by Laurie Beth Jones, published by Hyperion.
