Jesus is not God’s Son in the sense of how we think of a father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. Jesus is God’s Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1,14). Jesus is God's Son in that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 declares, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'" In Bible times, the phrase “son of man” was used to describe a human being. The son of a man is a man.
Jesus is the Son of God. The Son of God is God. Jesus is God made manifest (John 1:1,14).

Yes, we can have it BOTH ways. Jesus is God as the Son of God. Son of God denotes a share in the Divinity. Jesus is simply not God all by Himself. That is why He can say He is not God all by Himself but the Son, since he shares the divinity with two other persons while there is still only ONE God.

The Bible specifically says in I Tim. 3:16 "God was manifest in the flesh".-Jesus Christ was God in the flesh!!! Which also reflects another verse. II Cor. 5:19 " God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." Jesus is the Father in parental relationship to mankind, Jesus is the Holy Ghost -God in activity as spirit, Jesus is the Son of God- He was fully God/Fully man. He was Mary's biological son yet concieved of the Holy Ghost, therefore, divine. He was the Son of God (Humanity). Does it make sense now? If not, let me know and I'll give it another shot. God Bless!!!

Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
I John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Heb.2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Jesus never said he was God. At John 10:36, he said: "I am the Son of God."
At John 17:3: Jesus called his Father the only true God.
Concerning Jesus, the apostle John said at 1 John 5:5: "Who is the one that conquers the world but he who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?"
To say that Jesus is BOTH God and the Son of God is utter nonsense.

"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with The God, and a god was the word." John 1:1 (original translation).
"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." Luke 8:11
Jesus was the manifestation of the seed of God, a spiritual seed, that when sown into the heart of mankind, makes him a god, not God.
Jesus was the son (seed/word) of God, who became a god...every seed after its own kind.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Father before all ages. God of God light of light, true God of true God. Begotten not made, consubstantial to the Father, by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and of the Virgin Mary and was made man; was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and the third day rose again according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, of whose Kingdom there shall be no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who together with the Father and the Son is to be adored and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets, and one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
1 John 5:7- "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One."

The theory of "The Trinity" means that God, The Son, and The Holy Ghost are one.
Most christians beleive that.
There is all kinds of weird stuff in the bible to beleive.

Being the Son of God means He is equal with God.
See John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
The Jews knew straight away......but I doubt you do!
Spiritually, this is very deep!!!

According to the bible, Jesus was the Son of God. However, they are also referred to together as the Holy Trinity (the Father, Son and Holy Ghost)
