I love Irn-Bru - it was one of the advantages of having a Scottish father. Never got the hang of deep fried mars bars though.

Irn Bru - was addicted to it while I was pregnant with my son, thought he was gonna be born orange with steel bones!! Then I knew I was pregnant with my daughter even though the test was negative because I started drinking the stuff again!!

A friend of mine from Scotland brought one over to the US. She had never heard of Mt. Dew and wondered if it was close. I actually liked it. I made sure to get my fill of it when I visited her! Then years later when I met my hubby, I found out he loved Irn-Bru too! Too bad I can't buy it here.

Here in Canada I can get it along with Tizer and Dandeloin and Burdock, I like D&B as it is almost like the Nroth American root beer, only not a sweet and not licorice/vanilla aftertaste.

And yes IRN-BREW is a bit high on the sugary side, like Jot cola it can zap you and then drop you like a stone from a highrise.

I know one thing..... it's "hyper-juice" for kids... the sugar content is mind-boggling. It's supposed to be great for the weekly hangover.... I've never needed it though!!.
