Salam brothers and sister in Islam the truth came from the lines of the prophets stating the truth to us all and knowing the truth to us all. Those in Christianity or Catholic faith need to read all information and realize those who carried the HOLY SPIRIT would never have even a scratch put onto them. Judas was the one murdered not Jesus and it was murder!

capital punishment / hanging, is actually not considered murder, but punishment,

and at the end of the day, if the bible is correct, the Murderer is actually God, as he intended him to die, but as you cant hold any ficticous character responsible, he gets away with it, and millions carry the faith like its a normal thing to do, to murder your son.

From you question it can be inferred that you want to refer to the verse in the Qura-an which means "they crucified him not, nor did they kill him, but ...."
I think the Qura-an does not deny the action of the Crucifixion, or if there was no such action, why does the Qura-an discusse such non-existent thing, especially in another verse the Qua-an chracterizes the Jewish with killing the prophets or dismissing them? Again the action of Crucifiction is historically documented and the documents are kept in museums all over the world. And of course the Qura-an can't deny such a historical event. However, the problem is resulting from the interpretations of the verse. Read Elgalali's interpretations and you may find something different from your view. You can also read Ben katheer's interpretation of the Qura-an, especially this verse, he has also a different opinion from yours, particularly in the rest of the verse ".... but it was likened tothem." where he (Ben Katheer) says that the Jewish thought that by killing Jesus they had got rid of him completely and for ever, however, killing Jesus does not mean destroying him or destroying his message as they once imagined they did; the fact is that they killed him but they never abolished him or destroyed his message.

I just want you to read more for the great interpretors of the holy qura-an, instead of being overwhelmed by your own idea that might be infused to your mind by some people who want to illustrate that Islam is against Christianity so as to arouse the enemity between the two followers of religions and keep the relations between them soar and sour in an everlasting conflict.

Luke 23:34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive these people, because they don't know what they are doing".

Jesus asked God to forgive the people who were putting him to death -Jewish leaders, Roman politicians and soldiers, bystanders - and God answered that prayer by opening up the way of salvation even even to Jesus' murderers. The Roman officer and soldiers who witnessed the Crucifixion said "Truly, this was the Son of God" (Mat 27:54). Soon many priests were converted to the Christian faith (Acts 6:7). Because we are all sinners, we all played a part in putting Jesus to death. The good news is that God is gracious. He will forgive us and give us new life through his son.

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

Insha'Allah, your understadning of Christian theology and the myths of that same relgious system of belief is sorely lacking.

It is Christian theology that everyone, by guilt associated with original sin, that has lived, that was living at the time and those who have come after are all the "murders" of the one whom they profess to the "son of God".

Insha'Allah, we are also taught in the Holy Qur'an and in the Sunnah al Hadiths that Christians are our spiritual brothers in faith, along with the Jews and the Sabians as the "ahl al kitab".

Insha'Allah, we, as Muslims, were only directed to fight those among the afore mentioned religious groups when they were actively attacking the ummaa and/or the allies of the same.

Insha'Allah, Islam, as the religion of peace, teaches tolerance, kindness and compassion as well as no compulsion in regards to religion. As long as others are not attacking Islam, the Muslims or those who are too weak to defend themselves and who are also under the protection of the ummaah by treaty, we are not to persecute them nor attack them.

Insha'Allah, you appear determined to stir up trouble rather than simply and correctly answering the questions of those who do not understand Islam so as to show them the truth. Such is not how a Muslim should behave nor conduct him or herself.

Hasbu k'Allah.

Insha'Allah, remember, my friend, to treat all others with the same respect and courtesy that you would like them to treat you with.

Be a good Muslim and conduct yourself as such.

Ma'a salaam

The legacy of Jesus lives on as does Jesus himself, as we speak he is seated at the right hand of the Father ever interceding on our behalf...The murderer was Satan and if he could undo it he sure as hell would, because now he knows he made a big mistake when he murder Jesus, he played right into the hands of The Almighty. Because that's why Jesus came into the world in the flesh...To die for the sin of the world , and bridge the gap between man and God. that's why he allowed Satan to murdered him. He never uttered one word in his own defense, He was as quiet as a lamb going to slaughter...

Murder.."The unlawful killing of a person with malice aforethought by another"

Jesus was not murdered. He was put to death because of his beliefs and his disregard for Roman authority. He was tried and convicted, and put to death. As were thousands of others during that time.

"Crimes" are relevant to the laws, as they were. Many people today are falsely accused and convicted. some even put to death. A mistake but not murder. Except, that is, if one bares false witness against them, they are guilty of sin and should be held accountable.

You already asked a question that was designed to propagate the Islamic deception that the Bible was changed to say that Jesus died and rose again, and you were well refuted http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071125083737AABQvOy&r=w#NqxYWlDPDUGqwu3Na_4Q(scroll down).

Now, though you continue in your hard hearted unbelief, you apparently seek to incite hatred of Jews. Yet while all the first Christians were Jewish, being convinced by the Hebrew Bible, which Muhammad constantly contradicted in his ignorance (as he could not read) and by his delusions (he himself worried that he was demon possessed), it is you who exhibit even now the kind of hatred of the true and living Christ that the Jewish rulers did in seeking to destroy him!

I pray, that if it is still possible, that God may grant you repentance to see that Islam is a gross fabrication, that does not have the ground to stand upon that is supposes.

The actual murders were just following orders. The High Priests who incited the crowds have to answer to God just like the rest of us. And all sinners are responsible.

Jesus was put to death following the laws in effect at the time. He was arrested, tried and put to death based on justice of the era.

We do the same today with our death penalty.

You'd think we'd have learned something in 2000 years, wouldn't you?

2007-11-25 11:53:58 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

They weren't forgotten. They are well known who they were. Nor were they ignored. It was prophesied before Jesus' birth he would be crucified for the sins of the whole world and how. If people will look into there it is-all of it.
