If you believe Hezbollah takes orders from Tehran than last year. If not then in 1979 when Iran declared war on the United States by attacking our embassy. Under international law attacking foreign territory is a clear declaration of war.

Depending on who you talk to since very few admit starting something is a closed society but could be the war with Iraq in the late 1980's. Remember also that as a nation Iran is not that old, part of the Ottoman Empire for years so going back too ar is questionable.

Paul.....Iraq not Iran invaded Kuwait....??

Gunny.... Iraq invaded Iran...... Iran is an ancient culture.....much older than the Ottoman Empire....It predates Alexander the Great.........it was a major power in the Middle East for centuries.....

I would say the last time Iran started a war was......last year......when Iran's surrogates Hezbollah provoked Israel

Hezbollah is funded, supplied and controlled by Iran...

When is the last time Iran supported and supplied a war.....try yesterday in Iraq
