Bandaids if you can get away with it.
I used to play, and I always got the worst refs, who'd make me take out my piercings even if I wore bandaids over them.

It should be safe to remove them for a couple of hours. If they are still seeping fluid, then use bandaids. Put your bolts or rings back in ASAP after the game.

It depends on how fast you heal, but it took a whole year for my cartlidge piercing to completely heal and now over 20 years later, if I go without a ring for more than 2 or 3 days, the hole starts to close up.

I would take out the cartilage jewelry, as a cartilage piercing takes longer to heal and is typically more painful when hit. I don't think you need to worry about the lobe.. just make sure you wear a stud.

Take them out. The holes won't close up in two hours and getting slammed in the ear with an earing in sucks.

It depends on how long it takes you to heal...for some people it would be too early to do so. I would say it probably alright to take it out but you'll probaby have some scar tissue to go through when you put it back in...
