Not really. It won't make much a difference. Most of my friends go out drinking and they are WAYYY too young 2 drink, but they ask irresponsible adults to get some for them.
At least I won't be the one who gets a liver problem when I'm older....

It wouldn't make any real difference. 12 year olds can drink with impunity now and it wouldn't change.
We need a monthly allowance system like they used to have in Sweden. It wouldn't fix everything, but it would eventually change the culture.

Yes by all means, let them forsake your personal responsibilities. Afterwich you can allow parliament to pass a law...lets call it......"God save the Queen" or "Homeland Security", something like that. Allow the PM to pass laws and by-pass laws that are for "security" purposes. Individual freedoms do not matter. You can be assimilated into the collective. When you travel you can be harassed and detain....."Vere are your papers, you old lady in the wheel chair, you beep when you go through the metal detector, what are you hiding?" "but that's just from my wheelchair", "Impossible, she is a terrorist.....strip search her!"..........later on......."Oh, we are sorry ma'am, I hope you understand, it was for security's sake"
So yes.......make the drinking age 21......what harm can it do? Right.

Considering how many people get beaten to death by drunk kids, I'd have to say yes. But the government won't do that because they prefer anything that gives them an excuse to raise taxes.

Yes, just for the fact we won't get teenage gimps annoying me when I have a few beers, they can't take their alcohol and are always the ones who start punch ups. I'd vote for an upper age limit.

What are people in England actually getting dumber to be asking something so stupid? You should take great pride in knowing that your laws are not as stupid as the ones in the USA.
FOR F**K SAKE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING!!!!

No. It is a failure here in the U.S. but no politician has the courage to admit it.
