Since Christmas is widely celebrated by people as a non-religious holiday anyhow, perhaps it ought to be renamed to include the secular celebration of family, friends and culture, Kwanzaa.

I recommend we adopt a new word, "Kwistmas," since it has a rather fun sound to it. LOL

What are your ideas ?

KwistmaxHannustice...???? lol

I've adopted the term solstice... but this is fun, kinda like the "anti" church lady.

I say we go back to calling it Winter Solstice, and celebrate it on the actual Solstice. Whether or not the rest of the world wants to, that's what I do. Kinda cool, though, because I get two Solstice celebrations...I celebrate with my friends and husband on the Solstice, and then with my husband and his family on Christmas Eve. Even cooler: there are no conflicts of interest with planning.

As secular as it is - Christmas is still a great way to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a lost and confused world.

Christmas is fine by itself and Kwanzaa is fine by itself - no need to combine them.

I think you should research the origins of Kwanzaa.

I like your idea. I'm not sure what I'd call it though.
