I watched Yvonne Ridley's interview on YOUTUBE . In which she states she was married to an Muslim for about 4 years , had a daughter from him , But did not convert to islam......
Later on when she studied the Quran for about 30 months . She realised that it was form GOD.
And she reverted to ISLAM.

In the video of CAT STEVENSON ,,
He said that he read the chapter of JOSEPH and realised that the QURAN is not the word of man.

When he reverted to ISLAM he was at the peak of his career. He left it all when he realised the TRUTH.

Is the TRUTH so evident in the QURAN.
And if it is so evident ....... Why dont the people read it and acknowledge it to be from the ONE GOD who created everything and change their lives. Why people have to believe in the Religion they are born in.

Read it, assess it ,
To accept it or reject it is your decision.

What happened to Jesus Christ pbh is given in details in the Quran. While the Christians do not understand what happened to Jesus Christ. Because he ascended & it was left to the Apostles to make their own Judgement.
Read the Quran to know the Truth.

The Quran is last book revealed by God. and it is in its original state without any arabic versions. That is why it has so many followers, who follow it strictly.

The order not to eat PORK was given to the jews , the christians, & the muslims.
But the christians refused to follow their scripture although it is ordered in

Leviticus 11:7-8, "7 And the swine, becausse it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you."

If the christians are not following thier book why blame the Jews & Muslims.

Bhukhari Sharif -- The sayings of the last Prophet s.a.w.

Abu Huraira, narrated that the Prophet said, "Every child is born with a true faith (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism or to Christianity or to Magainism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?" Then Abu Huraira recited the holy verses: "The pure Allah's Islamic nature (true faith i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone), with which He has created human beings." (30.30).

Perhaps the hidden secrets of Quran is even beyond the ardent peripheral studies as done by Dr. Kemp. Perhaps also beyond the reach of the peripheral followers of Islam who studies Quran in the same fashion as Dr. Kemp but with another line of thought.

Regarding the youtube videos, there are many cross firing and converting from one to other and peripheral analysts making a lot of ho - ho in many without much indepth study.

In that many you may also see the videos of this girl, a beautiful creation of God into Islam, Taslima Nasrin trying to escape the axe of peripheral fundametalists in Islam who perhaps read Quran just like Dr. Kemp above but in a more twisted way perhaps neglecting the underlying thread of Human Values.

Perhaps unlike Prophet Mohammed these peripheral fundamentalists or the book worms who can not take take within the real essence of the words from God are perhaps showing a face of Islam without any humanitarian consideration. But then in a larger sense, this also could be a Divine Delusive Leela of God to run this Drama in this world with irrationales...

Here a link into another way of Interpretation on whatever is said in Quran in a holistic fashion...

Here the Sathya Sai Thought for the Day,

"Devotion to the Lord is really a form of discipline for reaching the goal. The seeker should not stop with the acquisition of devotion, nor pay so much attention to the love he has for the Lord, but rather on the love and grace the Lord bestows on him. One should always be eager to find out what behaviour and what actions will be most pleasing to the Lord. Inquire about that, yearn for that, and carry out the things that will secure that objective. But people do not generally follow this ideal. They pay more attention to the love that the devotee has for the Lord and, in the process, do not pay much attention to the righteousness and the work that the Lord appreciates. Whatever a devotee does, plans or observes should draw down the grace of God. One should not be subject to one’s own will but be in accordance with His Will. The devotee should test every thought and feeling on the touchstone of the Lord’s declared preferences. "

I couldn't wait for mines to come in the mail. I bought a Holy Qur'an at a Muslim store and so far I really am enjoying what I read. So far I am in agreement with it. Here is a scripture I found that shows that Muslims have NO prejudice and NO hate for other beliefs because it is written in the Qur'an. Here it is:
Surah 2:62 Those who believe in the Qur'an,
And those who follow the Jewish scriptures,
And the Christians and the Sabians,
And who believes in Allah
And the Last Day,
And work righteousness,
Shall have their reward
With their Lord; on them
Shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

It isn't "the" truth - its one guys opinion about what the truth is - one guy who lived 1300 years ago, and based a great deal of what he said... on the Jewish and Christian texts. Muhammed needed something to guide his people and saw that the Jews had their books, so he "borrowed" the idea. Ever wonder why Jews AND Muslims do not eat pork? No religion owns the truth - none of them.

Wow, two people.. two people out of billions. Is that all you got?

You have three belief systems stemming from the Abrahamic god - Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Why is Islam any better than the other two? They, too, claim their word is from god.

I have chosen to reject it. They're all the same regardless if their words are different.

First, don't use the word 'reverted' when neither was a muslim in the past.

Second, it's Stevens, not Stevenson.

Third, when you're not too busy studying the quran, pick up a dictionary.

I've read the Quran. I haven't been fortunate enough to read it in multiple languages like I have the Bible, but I have read it from cover to cover and analyzed it several times through-out my career.

It's just as ridiculous as the Bible. To me, they are both a library of works written by delusional men that had no idea how serious the world would take their writings.

As the phrase suggests, self evident is as it says. It is up to you (as well as the rest of us) to maintain the honesty of this statement. DO SO.

WOAweewAA!!!

"Why people have to believe in the Religion they are born in. "

They don't. There are Christians and Muslims and Wiccans and Buddhists etc etc all over the World.

Although you'll find more muslims in Islamic countries.

What exactly is the consequence of leaving Islam if you are born into it?

Is it not impossible to read the Koran in any language other than Arabic (because a translation is not considered inspired)? If I do not speak Arabic, how can I read it? Is this correct?
