5000 -10,000 channels , Ha Ha ... Funny
Via Pc ? I always believed this was too good to be true , in fact looking on Yahoo Answers and You Tube , you will see that there are quite a few people trying to promote these 1000's of channels thru PC , I have seen many channels on PC and quality ranges from pretty good to awful and someone is trying to make it seem as if it is good as regular TV. Be very carefull of this software.

Via Satellite Dish and receiver ?

Ok , here's what I know about Satellite dishes , way before Satellite TV services were offered by Dish Network and Direct TV most people got their Premium TV channels thru Cable TV or BUD ( Big Ugly Dish ) , yes those Big Dishes though more expensive they could be used to subscribe to Premium Channels like HBO and MTV to name a few .

Then came the Digital age with compression of video and audio that enabled more channels to be squeezed into the same amount of room that it took for one channel , reducing costs overall and allowing many more channels to be sent economically thru space.

Today with the proper equipment which is not that expensive anymore and if you have a clear view of the southern sky you can get many satellite channels for free , not HBO or MTV but local affiliates , religious , educational , foreign language , and sports feeds , not to mention plenty of satellite radio too.

It's a great hobby , but again nothing as easy or practical as using Dish Network or Direct TV , I currently get over 250 + channels for free using a 36 inch dish , and If I add a Big Dish I can add a couple hundred more.

Save your money. These are scams.

Just go directly to NBC, ABC, etc, or Joost , Hula, etc
