Most Relionistas will either quote the Bible at you (which is so shallow it can be dismissed without comment) use the anthropomorphic argument or use a version of The Watchmaker argument. The anthropomorphic argument basically says if everything in our World, Solar System, Universe were not just so - we could not exist. So it must be God wot done it. Crystal Dovie has used a rather crude version of it. But the truth is, everything did have to be just so for us to exist. If it were not, we would not be here discussing it. There are many other planets, star systems and maybe Universes where everything is not just so, and there is nobody discussing it. Inevitably we (or any other form of life) can only exist where the conditions are right. The Watchmaker argument says because Humans make stuff, somebody must have made everything. Nothing can "make itself". Chemistry physics and biology (especially evolution) are dismissed with a simple assertion (usually with a large helping of naive incredulity). It's a typical religious argument based entirely on assertion not real evidence. it sometimes comes with very sophisticated wrapping, but it all boils down to the same feeble minded nonsense.

Does that mean I'm God? Since people found out I'm atheist, they have tried to vandalized my house...smashing window's, etc. So I ask it again, does that make me God?

ok frankly i've never heard this saying before but i'm pretty sure this means that if god lived on earth he'd get his windows smashed due to the countless people who are dissatisfied with his work. :|

The Bible says that we are in the world but not of the world. That would mean to me that those who vehemently do not choose to believe God would want HIm completely out of the picture. This country is doing a pretty bang up job of trying to do just that.

that's a bit like the song lyric...."dear god if you were alive you know we'd kill you"
means....if they could, people would attack him. coz they don't like him.
or it could have been said in the sense that 'these window-smashers are so relentless they'd even smash GOD's windows if they could.'
relentless isn't the word i want is it?

Beloved , believe not every spirit , but test the spirits whether they are of God , because many false prophets are gone out into the world

I think it originated with your post, and I think it means that people in general don't like god.
