I would die, if I felt truly in my heart that I was right and what I believed in was right.

I am quite prepared to die. And may even have to. Just like the first century Christians who were quite prepared to die - and often did.
I am reminded of the words of Oxford University Professor George Rawlinson:
"The early converts knew that they might at any time be called upon to undergo death for their religion. . . . Every early writer advocating Christianity, by the fact of his advocacy, braved the civil power, and rendered himself liable to a similar fate. When faith is a matter of life and death, men do not lightly take up with the first creed which happens to hit their fancy; nor do they place themselves openly in the ranks of a persecuted sect, unless they have well weighed the claims of the religion which it professes, and convinced themselves of its being the truth."
I have well-weighed the claims of my faith and, after intense study, which I continue to do, have thoroughly convinced myself of the truth of the body of my beliefs.
I sincerely hope I do not have to, but I am quite prepared to die. Daily I try to renew my preparation.

Change my point of view. What's the point of dying again? I like my faith because its fun - dying is no fun - at least I don't think so yet.

I don't think I could decide to change my point of view. Even if I said I had, I still wouldn't believe it. So I guess I would have to die.

I will die for my faith! This is the exact tactic governments are going to use to develop the New World Order. By eliminating religion, they eliminate one of the major cause of war. Thus, accepting the symbolic mark (666.)

I would die to defend the truth. And lots of atheists throughout history have in fact died for the truth.
Jesus put it nicely: "The truth shall set you free." But he didn't point out that it might take several centuries.

you can always change your point of view through saying it but it doesn't mean you actually believe it!
its like telling someone you love them want you really know its not true.
its just words at the end of the day, nothing else. no one can force you to believe something which you cant comprehend

If you mean if the christian right ever got their way and would persecute anyone who was not christian, would I deny being an atheist to stay alive?
Probably. I don't have any "rules" that say I'm going to be punished for lying. Unless that life was going to be so horrible under that regime, I'd probably lie.

That's easy. I have no faith.
No, wouldn't change my point of view based on threats. Too many of my ancestors died fighting for the rights of the working class to speak and I shall not shame their actions.
You assume they'd win.
Better to die on my feet than live on my knees.

You must have read the Bible! This is the very choice those left behind after Christ's return will have to make. Renounce Christ? Never.
God bless you.
