I don't know if you're referring to size, color or what. Red can mean blood. Don't let your vet take too long in giving your dog some relief. You don't say whether stool is hard or soft or much of anything to have any idea what is wrong. Your dog needs to eat and drink water. I would be sure she is drinking some even if I had to put it in her mouth. Or give her some gruel-watered down food. There are also high calorie stuff that comes in a gel in a tube that will help your dog keep up strength. Call your vet and ask him what to do. Remember some vets are better than others, just like doctors. And some vets are better at some diseases than others. If you don't like what he says or doesn't get some fluid in the dog, get second opinion and take the results of the tests with you. If you make the vet mad, so what. The important thing is keeping your dog alive. Don't take the advice of someone you don't know, stick to the professionals. And don't wait too long. Time is most important here. . .Hope your lab gets better and soon.
