Seven days( Sunday night) ago a fever came upon me and I started vomiting and having diarrhea .
At one point the fever reached up to 102.7.
By Wed. morning the fever had broken, and the vomiting stopped.
What hasn't stopped is the severe , explosive, watery diarrhea.
I am in the bathroom at least 10-15 times a day.
Just drinking water sends me in there.
I am now terribly dizzy and weak.
I do not have any health ins. and I'm wondering if this is something that will pass with time, or if I need to seek medical care.
P. S. I am staying hydrated using Gatorade.

I'm not sure about the food poisoning, but I remember a few years ago there was an outbreak of E. Coli in people who ate Strawberries. Turned out that someone who picked the berries had E. Coli on their hands (due to not washing) and then the people who ate the strawberries were also not diligent about washing the berries, so that was how they got sick.

I always wash fruit very carefully after hearing that news story.

The most common type of food poisoning comes from bacteria or bacterial waste products contaminating a food.

There is no restriction on the type of food that can be contaminated.

The most common source of E-Coli outbreaks comes from raw sprouts (that's according to a report from the CDC).

Absolutely stay hydrated and you might want to find a way to visit one of those walk-in emergency care centers. They don't cost as much as ERs...

Sure, you can food poisoning from any type of food. That's why you should cook everything thoroughly and wash everything thoroughly.

You shouldn't be drinking Gatorade to stay hydrated. Drink water or tea and eat something with it as well.

This should pass soon enough.

I agree that gatorade isn't a good idea.
I also agree that it's good to wash your food well before eating it. Also, wash your hands and use clean silverware.
I wouldn't eat anything unless you feel hunger, and then I'd only eat soups until this passes. Get plenty of bed rest if you are tired. If you have a doctor you trust, it wouldn't hurt to go see her/him or at least get a phone consultation.
Let someone know you are sick so they can check in on you daily.
Get well soon,
