Er, how about no?!
Have you read the Gospels?
Jesus was anything but a wimp!
Everywhere he went, he put his life on the line, as he was trying to get everyone to change the way they thought about certain things, including each other!
For all his followers, Jesus had lots of enemies, but it never deterred him once!
Jesus did all this, and knowing that at the end of his ministry he was going to be nailed on a cross to die!
A wimp wouldn't have done all that!
The reason he did it all, is for us, so we can all see how much he loves us!
He allowed himself to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, that all other sacrifices throughout the OT were leading up to, so we could be forgiven our sins, give our lives to him, be truly sorry for our sins, and turn away from them, so that when we die, we could go to eternity in Heaven!
He may not have looked like Hulk Hogan, but his strength is incomparible, especially his spiritual strength!
I hope this helps!

Weedy?
If you mean he never inflicted pain on anyone then you are correct.
If you mean that he did not waste his life trying to perfect a body that inevitably was destined for destruction then you are correct.
There have been many men and women born in this world who have shown the same self control and discipline when confronted with opposition to their belief in the creator of heaven and earth. Many have walked to their death with the peace of knowing that their reward was the real life to come.
Now before we judge anyone, should we not look to our own convictions and wonder just where we as individuals stand.

You mean why didn't Jesus Christ let his Christian legal attorney team have a go against the Jerusalem politicians - Herod and Pontius Pilate/their legal team?
If Jesus had an ideal dream legal team, Jesus would have walked out of the Jerusalem prison back to preaching in the hillsides of Israel?

A Roman Centurion didn't think so and he'd seen many people die. He saw the beatings that Jesus took and how Jesus carried that cross with blood dripping from His body until He could lift it no more; and He saw Him hanging, nailed on a cross and he heard every word He spoke with an unrecognizable body from the beatings; and that same Roman soldier heard Jesus say, "It is finished." Knowing how men die and what men can physically handle he stepped back, looking at Jesus and said, "Surely this was the Son of God." That Roman Soldier knew that this was not a mere man because he had seen many men die. "This was the Son of God."

Have you ever really thought about Jesus life. He was raised as a carpenters son and in those days it meant cutting down their own trees, sawing own wood, carrying home at the end of tree felling. Now think about it, wouldnt you think he would be very strong and muscled to do this from his youth to age 30. And plus could a weak man have carried his own torture stake after a long night of torture and no sleep.

i've got faith what you're bearing on is John 11:35, wherein it states "Jesus wept." This grow to be merely after he had discovered that his expensive buddy Lazarus had died. maximum folk cry while they lose a kinfolk member, whether they comprehend they're going to see them lower back in heaven. i've got no longer heard that Jesus is at present weeping, yet while he's i can in easy terms think of it is via each and every of the terrible sins of this international.

Do not think of Jesus as the person represented by the Catholic church during the Dark Ages.
That is such an erroneous image of Christ, its almost laughable.

Intriguing question for a Sunday morning. No. He wasn't. If you think about the message that he brought and the resistance that it was met with then I would say he was brave.
His message was radical and was enough to get him killed even by a few of his own tradition. I would say if you continue to speak out under such pressure to be silent then that counts as brave.

Actually yes but it works well in the story created. It is the template that Christians would follow for centuries. If some clever people didn't come up with the rising from the dead part no one would even be talking about this fool
