If the sensor really needs to be cleaned, and air will not clean it, you really only have two options.
First, take it to a factory authorized repair facility and ask them to do it for you.
Second, purchase a sensor cleaning kit, usually sold as an accessory, with instructions, from the camera manufacturer. Follow the directions very, very carefully. One slip up and it could get real expensive real fast.

Green clean has a vacuum attachment for dirt that is net set and hard to move. One needs often enough to follow this up with Arctic Butterfly brushing or wet and dry wipes in the Green Clean kit.

If you damage your sensor its tickets. So before you clean you need to be able to diagnose where the dust or dirt is :

1. If the spots on your images are blurry the dirt is on the the lens.

2. If the dirt is in sharp focus it is on the sensor.

When cleaning the sensor I place my camera and all the equipment I will be using for cleaning on a anti-static mat and earth it on a water pipe or a radiator. Have clean dry hands and tie up your hair. Don't sing, whistle or sing or talk while your'e working.

I really dread something like this. There was a huge spot on all my photos and I realized it was a blob of dust on the sensor. I use the blower (the rubber thingie) and it didn't work. I thought I was gonna cry--but I kept trying for a while and it came off.

It was because I stupidly changed lens when I was outdoor carelessly. Never again.
