I'm like, give me some space, but she's all up next to me smoking a cigarette and whispering in my ear. I just want the remote, a cold beer and football. That's it. That's not too difficult to understand. Before long, I'm going to start farting to get some space!

You've obvious been hitting the quitting the wrong women.
Women like to cuddle afterwards because that's the best part of making love.
That's the time when intimacy really take over. The time when promises are made about the present and future. The time when love blossoms.
The act itself is just physical. But the cuddling makes it intimate.
When you find the right woman, you'll be the one who wants to cuddle. Watch out!
Because what goes around comes around. And I hope she farts around you so that she can get some space!!

Because most women associate sex with love and that means closeness. Most men don't associate it with anything but getting off, so when their done their done. Recognize this, give her alittle cuddling and your sex life will be better for it. I can see where the smoking and whispering in your ear would be irritating, don't give her a chance to light up, grab her and hold her close, cuddle a little then let her get her cig. you get your beer and the remote, you'll both be happy!

They want to be close to you because they feel love for you and want the comfort of hugging together and spending some romantic time, just laying in your arms and feeling content and very warm and loving after you both have made love. It is the best time together if you really care about the other person. If you don't, they will ge the hint if you get up and do your own thing. It's likely they will be very hurt and won't give you what you want because you obviously don't care for them.
if you're just playing the field and going from girl to girl to - you know... well it's your choice.

Although they are rare, there are women who don't like a lot (or even) cuddling after making whoopy. Unless you're really in live with your lady, you may want to find a non-cuddler.
It's your business, but I would respectfully suggest that you not do the Dutch Oven-thing (i.e. passing gas in bed)....I had a teacher who found himself sleeping on the sofa as a result of pulling that on his wife.

My best guess is that a woman wants to cuddle afterwards to feel like she means something to you other than what just happened. The last thing any woman wants to think is that she is only good for that one thing. Cuddling makes her feel like you care more about her! Be nice to your woman--cuddle her! Even if only for a couple minutes, it will make her feel special.

Seriously, though...here is my answer:
It's hormonal. During sex, women's estrogen levels soar and she feels the need for physical intimacy. After the sex is over her hormone level drops slowly, and until the surge is gone, she still needs that intimacy.
During sex, men's testosterone levels also soar, but drop much more quickly than women's hormonal levels, so when the sex is done.....so is he.
There's nothing to be done about it...that is common for ALL women and men.

Because she loves you and wants to be close. After doing that, she most likeley feels extra close. If you push her away, it'll probably hurt her feelings. If you don't like it then just tell her, but in a nice way.

Me I'm like.. lets cuddle till I get the strength in my legs back, then we can walk naked into the kitchen and I"ll cook while you roll a joint.. then we can do it again!
