Hi There,
I've been single for a few weeks now, I am wondering is there a good place to meet women? I go to bars, pubs, nightclubs but feel threatened to ask a girl out in a bar, cause they have high defence in bar situations. I go to the gym a lot but this is a very male dominant group, there seems to be a lack of women there. I am very confident person looking for an alterative route.
Any suggestions?

Here are a few ideas:
* Go to a major bookstore on a Saturday night. It's a quiet, generally friendly place. Many large bookstores have a coffee shop. If you get into a conversation with someone in one of the book aisles, asking her to sit with you for coffee is a nice "next step" in getting to know her. A woman alone in a bookstore on a Saturday night just might be "looking."
* Apparently, you are into sports if you're into going to the gym regularly. When a woman sees you being active, you will appear more attractive (as opposed to just "sitting there" in Dunkin' Donuts). Join a cycling group, play tennis, swim, etc., and of course go where the women may be.
* You may have opportunities at work. The trick is to always be friendly and upbeat to the women, even if work is tough or is getting you down. Show her that you're a fun, smart guy and above the petty rituals and stresses of work.
I agree that bars and night clubs are not the best places to meet a lot of quality women--although it's certainly not impossible. In my experience, however, I've never had a long-lasting relationship with women I've met at bars.

Stay away from the bizzy bars!
Too many "needy" & low-budget
chicks there! Seek out QUALITY!
Go to a major University Student Union.
Check out Activities there. Film Festivals~
Academic Activities, Lecture Series,
Concerts & Music Recitals~ etc.
Get Creative & meet nice women!

join a club of some sort like art or evening class try looking at work but go for a different department as it'll be very difficult if you split . Try at a cafe as everyone will be more relaxed, a good idea is to try hanging out with friends of friends and seeing if anything happens there as well

If you are that much of confident then why this question on net? All it seems to be that you require a time pass girl friend and is ready to spend thousand as such. See the newspaper. Friendship coloum may likely to suite you. Best wishes

The place to find a woman to suit you is in the places you like to visit.
If it is a lasting relationship you are looking for then why look anywhere other than the places you like to visit.
If it is a quicky one night stand, then persist in the club land.

Suggest you ask her what stone is her favorite ? This will be a special ring for both of you and she is the one who will wear it..There are many beautiful settings for stones that won't break your bank.. Also which stone she prefers can be mounted to produce a beautiful ring .. She will appreciate your thoughtfulness .. Congratulations to both ..

try small more friendly pubs as women don't tend to like to be chatted up in a club i know i don't and gyms put me off to i met my fella on a stag do but he was with all his mates and was in a tiny pub.

just a suggestion huh?.....sometimes you dont need to find a girlfriend for a reason that God will provide you her in the right time and at the right place.......if you are destined to be on each others arms......(whoever she is).......u will just be suprise that there she is.....without any effort.
