Call him and tell him. Don't wait for people to answer you here. Try and meet up with him and give him loads of attention, make him feel really special.
You make the first move.

Just give him time and another movie. He'll try again.
Do not try kissing him to let him know you want to be kissed. Just be your usual warm, friendly self (not overly so), and he'll get up his nerve.
After he's gotten a little more comfortable kissing you, a missed kiss will be no big deal. It happens often, especially if you are distracted by a movie or other activity around you. He'll simply say your name, then reach over, touch your cheek, and turn your face back to his.
Enjoy the fun!

You'll be alright, let him give another try.
Maybe he might be scared the next time, as you say, but give him the looks, and signs that you are waiting for him.
He will get over the shock (if he is in a shock), as long as you show him your affection the right way.
By the way, I'm not telling you to be availiable for sex!
It's always best to wait for the next time, on every move.
Actually, he might appreciate the kiss next time, since it wasn't an easy task.
Good luck!

No, you didn't mess up. You quite possibly lucked out. He shouldn't offer a kiss if he's not ready for any reaction that you give. It seems like he was offering it for his own benefit. I don't think you need to explain anything to him. It sounds like you could get over your head fast if you do. Be a friend. Friends don't need for each other to be turned to receive kisses all the time. He was probably moving way too fast anyway.
Oh, and if you told his mate, his mate probably already told him.

You didn't realise so don't worry about it, just make it up to him by kissing him first then he won't have to worry about making the first move again. You are his girlfriend so its okay to kiss him first.

Talk to him. Ask him if he was going to kiss you.
If so, sort it out. Grab him there and then and get on with it
GOOD LUCK

hm, wow. Well, if I was in your place, and was that concerned, I would just tell him that you didn't know he was going to kiss you and apologize. It's not that big a deal if you didn't intend on it.

Next time he leans in, just kiss him. Whatever you do, don't let one rip in front of him. Guys are turned off by women who fart.

No, not at all, just tell him what you told us next time you see him or speak to him, he will understand.
Nothing to worry about!
