Hi, My dog went outside and came back in and started shaking a lot and has been panting. Her tail is ticked in and she looks scared. Please help, what is wrong? Will she die?
Please.

We have enclosed fencing, there is no other large animals around and she is a shitzu- Silky. She didn't have a seisure as the shaking isn't heaps noticeable and it is continuous.

maybe it has been bitten or stung by something or maybe a seizure cause my dog has had them before if her symptoms continue i'd call a vet but if she calms down fairly quickly then she should be allright. There weren't any other dogs around or any person or animal that could have scared her were there, you should check to make sure

i hope she gets better soon

It could be a scare from something, like a swooping bird, a bug bite, a sting, or a loud, barking dog. I think that going to the vet right now would be a waste of money. Wait an hour, if she is still shaking and such, THEN go to the vet. Generally when a dog has a tail tucked it isn't because of a blockage, but because of fear and a submissive state from being scared or insecure.

Your dog will definitely die. All living things will die. Probably not from this. Check your dog thoroughly for bug bites, swelling and anything else not normal. It could be an allergic reaction to something. If you find anything, give her children's benedryl. If you don't find anything, take a wait and see approach. If she gets worse, call the vet. If she doesn't change by morning, take her to the vet. She will most likely be back to normal very soon. If you follow the advice given by most people on this site, you would be taking your dog to the vet four times a day and your annual vet bill would be many thousands of dollars.

I hope you have a fenced yard because if you don't anything could have happened to her including getting hit by a car or a fight with another dog. She also could have been hit by a person with a club. God knows what could have happened to her. Please don't ever let her out loose like that in the world again for her own safety. Please. Now, if you do have a fenced yard where she is relatively safe, maybe she ran into a snake or somebody shot her from a distance, you need to supply more details. Check her body over, offer her water and food and calmy talk to her to steady her nerves then leave her alone to rest. If she is still acting weird tomorrow then you MUST take her to the vet. Shame on you for not walking WITH her.

She needs to see a vet. Could be a blockage or bloat.. You dont say what breed of dog she is.. Bloat is life threatening emergency.
We don't know if your dog is going to die. You have to see a vet or sit there and wait to see if she dies then spend the rest of your days feeling guilty because you did nothing to hel her except ask strangers on Y answers if she was gonna die.
Call a vet and get in the car and GO.

she might have been scared by a large animal or broke or injured a part of body. Go to the vet right away!

The tail shows that she had been scared. She may have been doing something a a squirrel was nearby and it ran away and it startled her. But if it goes on for more than an hour, I would take her to a vet.

First let me say,if your dog had not been outside unsupervised you would not be having to ask this question.
Would you turn a 3yr. old child out alone ?
Get her to a vet,any number of things could be wrong.
